Awesome Experience

Me and my friend have been traveling together in New Zealand for a month, getting around with help from the kiwi busses. We heard about the company from an agency back home in Denmark. We arrived in Auckland on the 17th of February, and on the 19th we were picked up by the bus just outside our hostel, couldn't have been easier. The driver was absoulutlly amazing and we were happy to follow here all the way to wellington. She was always in a good mood and very helpfull. The whole trip was easy and we shouldn't Think much ourselves because we could book almosy everything through the bus driver.

Good fun!

Had a great time on the kiwi bus- a fantastic way to see all the sights of the country at a low cost, with the added benefit of easily making new friends and gaining new experiences with the kiwi discount! Only downside is, they sell the whole country to other well! The enthusiasm and energy of each bus driver as they described every activity made me want to blow my budget there and then! Highlights include: skydiving Taupo, the Maori village, helicopter franz Josef and the fantastic views at Nelson national park!

Overall a great experience!

I heard about kiwi experience and decided to but the kitchen sink pass and you really get to see the most of new zeeland! The drivers are so helpful even when they are so stressed from all the full busses. Great people, you always find someone to hang with! A party bus for those who want that but you can easy have a chill night as well! A really busy season but I'm impressed with how awesome everyone at kiwi experience handled everything!

Fabulous time

I loved this trip. We traveled as a couple and we really bonded with other couples and people. The activities were great with a good mix for everyone. We'd recommend at least 2 nights in Wellington and Wanaka and recommend that Dunedin is better incorporated. The 2 main drivers we had, Mike and Dave were great and let their personalities shine through. We loved them. They were both very approachable and put our interests first. I'd recommend kiwi experience to anyone but it'll not be everyone's cup of tea as the group may be a bit young for some. The only thing i could advise is that the office staff didn't seem to be sure as to some issues as i was fed wrong info on 3 occasions.

Okay

The Kiwi Experience Bus is okay to get from one place to another and see some places in between (walks, photo stops). But all in all it takes way too long (supermarketstops, toilet stops). If you want to relax and not plan anything for yourself it is the right choice. If you want to get from A to B faster and want to plan your trip and activities for yourself take the Intercity or nakedbus, saves time and money. The drivers were nice, but weren`t always good at explaining the activities of the day...

Feeling like a Kiwi!

I booked online at a great price and it was very easy. Even though I had some trouble with my bookings and misunderstood some parts of the concept during the first week, it all turned out to be great fun. All the drivers were so helpful and they calmed me down when I felt stressed about my misunderstandings. The entire experience was outstanding. Kiwi Experience really sorts everything for you, from transport to finding new friends and places. All in a Kiwi spirit!

Great for the first time in New Zealand!

We got a discount on the ticket price and think it's great value for money, it's just a shame that you can't go back the way you came if you want to return somewhere, you have to do the full loop again and with only one bus per day it could take a long time and cost a lot in accommodation! But if you are on a tight time scale and only want to visit each place once the it's the perfect way to travel and meet new people.

It was ok!

Kiwi Experience is a convenient way to travel through New Zealand, but can be quite tiring and too touristy! When you're on minimum time, you need to take the bus every day, which can be really tiring. And the bus makes a lot of stops, where you don't necessarily get all the time to explore, and which can feel like you're just there to snap pictures. For example, I remember having only 15 minutes to explore Cathedral Cove, and couldn't even swim at the beach. It would be a good idea to spend more time in places that are as magnificent as Cathedral Cove.
