Fantastic trip but not impressed with Maui

Picking up our motor home at Christchurch was not a pleasant experience. The check in on the tablet is a struggle as the programme doesn't allow for forward or backward dates, e.g. Sob, date of licence expiry and if it freezes then you have to start again! Why can't the information be preloaded for ease? Staff at Christchurch weren't very interested or helpful and we watched vans drive away without unplugging their cables as there was no one there to help them. No enthusiasm for the trip and only limited information provided. We saw other camper companies had provided a tour guide with useful information for their clients. The onboard tablet was very helpful once we got the hang of it. When we handed the van back back in Auckland the young lady New her job and was very helpful. Our trip for 5 weeks to both Noth and South Islandswas fantastic. We have a motor home in the UK and so were used to the lifestyle but it exceeded our expectations. We bought ourselves some items to make life easier, some egg cups, (not sure these are not included), a non-stick frying pan and spatula and a second hand teapot which we passed onto another punter at Auckland, where there was a bit of a queue for it. Perhaps a teapot should also provided. The van went very well throughout. We were grateful for fan heater in Te Anau especially as we hadn't been given the fleece blanket we should have been, which we found our when we changed our linen at Queenstown.

Best way to see the country

Originally coming to New Zealand to work, decided to do the kiwi experience to see the whole of the country and its activities in the best and easiest way possible. Couldn't have asked for a better set of drivers, who made the whole experience 100 times better and more fun. Met some amazing people and would definitely recommend to anyone else.

Best Adventure Ever!

By far the most fun I've ever had! I went on the 'Sheep Dog' trip and loved every minute of it. We made some amazing friends, the drivers are so willing to help with anything and everything, and NZ is such a beautiful country.

I superb way to experience NZ!

I did three weeks on the NORTH Island. I really enjoyed going by bus, and i think the places the bus stopped at was a well chosen. Loved the driver Lisa, did not like Fly at all. She was rude and fake. The other drivers were cool. my experience was positiv, and i recomend it to everybody who asks how it was.

Good, but take it with a grain of salt

I bought the pass and did a tour of the north island first, stopping in Wellington for several months before I did the southern tour. I do recommend breaking up your trip into even smaller increments if possible, as traveling can be tiring, and there's so much beauty to take in, your brain might explode. The bus experience is what you make of it. If you want to be on your own you can, or you can try to befriend others and travel with them.
