Awesome experience with amazing people
Travelling New Zealand by Kiwi bus is probably the absolute best way to do it. Seeing so many amazing places, meeting tons of awesome people and never having to worry about how to get from one place to another.

Best way to travel!
Friends told me about the Kiwibus and I was surprised. I enjoyed the accommodations, all the background information and all the spots in New Zealand where we travelled. The bus drivers were really helpful if we had any kind of questions and were happy to help us with our time schedule especially Dilan helped is a lot! I enjoyed the ride with him he is such a funny guy (I hope you see this, greetings from the three German boys from April). I can just say it was the best recommendation we could get!

Good way to see the coutryside
The campervan didn't have a BBQ or a toaster so that was definitely a downside. We had a good time using the van otherwise. Definitely takes longer to drive here than north America!

Horrendous customer service in Auckland depot
Great way to travel. But don't have a breakdown - ours broke down the first night and we spent 6 hours waiting for a replacement. Then we weren't allowed to talk to the branch manager. Had to fight for a refund of one day, which isn't enough when we lost such a huge proportion of our dream holiday. Would you want to spend a precious annual leave day sitting around? Apart from that it was fantastic having the convenience of unpacking once and the ability to stop anywhere and access the fridge etc. Both campers were very clean and tidy. Pickup at Auckland depot was very disorganised. We'd checked in several weeks early and booked a slot, but still had to wait for 90mins before it was ready. We were embarrassed to be Kiwis watching these foreigners arrive and wait for 2 hours. Many of the staff showed no urgency in their actions, strolling along, chatting to each other. And try and follow the instructions on how to get to the depot from the domestic terminal: "Our transfer bus leaves from the International Airport Terminal approximately every 30 minutes. Exit through Door 6, 7, or 8 and proceed across pedestrian crossing to Bus stop. If arriving at the Domestic Airport, leave through Door 4 and turn right and proceed to Bus stop."

Family road trip made perfect!
I highly recommend seeing our beautiful country in a camper with the kids. A wonderful family holiday that ticked all the boxes.

1st Experience with Kiwi Experience
Joined 25 days covering north and south island, Overall I'm happy with the service provided. The only disappointment is the lodge at Lake Tekapo, where no wifi provided but don't block the local teleco signal even has a local SIM. Have to went out and stand opposite to get the signal in order to send out messenger or email.
