We love getting feedback from our passengers after they complete their Kiwi Experience. Feedback helps us tweak Kiwi Experience for other passengers or simply lets us know when we've done a great job.
Some of our passengers stay in touch for years to come. We love that!

Trip of a lifetime
I was pretty nervous to travel alone for the first time at the age of 26. I thought I was too old for an organised “backpacker” tour. I knew about kiwi experience from a lot of people who had done it, but a few years ago. I knew I wanted to do kiwi because I wanted to see as much of NZ as I could in a relatively short space of time, and that I couldn’t do it alone. From the moment I arrived at the bus stop I had already got chatting to people in the same boat as myself, and as soon as we were on the road our bus driver Rob had us laughing and already learning about the first stop we were heading to. Rob really made the trip - he was so knowledgable, flexible and just an all round sound bloke. He had a great sense of humour, was very honest about the activities and what to expect (particularly with it being winter and the weather being unpredictable). The way the activities and accommodation is organised with the clipboards each day is great. I found the hostels that kiwi recommend to be great. The only negative thing I have to say about the entire trip is about Base Hostels. We had a running joke amongst our group called “boycott base”. Honestly, they are terrible. I had the best experience ever with kiwi and I’ve recently come over to Fiji and have been telling everyone that will listen about. I’ve managed to convince two of my friends back in Australia to ditch their idea of New Zealand in a campervan and do kiwi instead! I just hope I can find the time to come over in the next year and reuse my pass!

Excellent experience!
After spending 4 days in Auckland and getting bored, I then used kiwi experience to travel around north island for 2 weeks. Not only did it give me the chance to travel to different locations, I also met numerous great friends. The only improvement I would make is to spend even longer travelling with Kiwi Experience! I plan to go back and travel again with them.

OK Camper, Needs a little clean .....
Picked up our camper from the rudest staff ever in Queenstown. I was embarrassed for them and as a Kiwi I hope that no visitor to New Zealand gets greeted and spoken to like this. A whirl wind show of the camper and we were off. Easy to drive and all the gear one would need, but lots of wear and tear and could not access the gas bottle due to the lock not working. Grey waste had not been emptied. Camper not fully charged.

My wife and I travelled in a camper van for 7 days around the North Island. Had a great ti e and enjoyec the easy of plugging into electricity at the Kiwi camp grounds. We would travel this way again.

Best driver!
I wasn’t sure if I like it before I started but I loved it! You meet a lot of new people from all around the world! But because I heard how it can be with a driver that is not so nice i’m even more thankful for Rob because he helped with everything he could and brought us to the best places!

Great for solo travelers
As a solo traveler I think Kiwi Experience was great because it was so easy to meet people and do activities I wouldn't have wanted to do solo. There is something for whatever mood you're in; whether you want something high-octane or chill, small or large group activities.
