Absolutely recommended
A wonderful way to travel with the comforts of having the house nearby and without the inconvenience having to return to the hotel. So you can move through the territory and get to travel a greater distance

Best and Easiest way to see NZ
I work for Napier I-SITE and heard about Kiwi Ex through a friend and it just seemed the best way to travel around NZ if you are on your own. This turned out to be completely true. I never felt like I was alone as everyone is in the same position as you. I also never felt unsafe, and my drivers were always happy to answer my many questions and even stopped off at a special stop for me.

Amazing time, amazing people
I brought this on a whim at STA travel, but after I brought it I did some research and heard loads of good things. I also found out a friend of mine had used kiwiex before and said he couldn't recommend a better way to visit all of New Zealand for the first time than with them. Having now used the whole sheep dog route I can confirm it's all it was cracked up to be. The coach drivers/ tour guides or professional backpacker, whatever their favourite title is they are all great. You will prefer some to others but that is natural. In total I had 5 different drivers in total and I liked all of them but got on particularly well with 3 (especially Stretch (love the "special" bus) and Guy of course). The best thing is all the amazing people you meet and get to have such a good time with. I'd give kiwi a 9/10, they could just improve on some of the hostels (mainly the base hostels which are a bit poor) and work on the Standby system as a few times I was out on standby without being officially told before hand which can be annoying but always worked out. p.s sweet as (stretch loves Canadians and goats)

Fell in love with a beautiful country in 3 weeks
I cant stop telling everyone at home how beautiful this place truly is! The Kiwi people are the most genuinely lovely people I've had the privilege to meet and the scenery in New Zealand is consistently stunning! But the whole thing was made so much more enjoyable by the Kiwi Experience Bus. I cannot recommend the bus drivers (Stretch and Guy) enough for how much they made this trip for us! They became more like your mates than bus drivers and always went out of their way to make our time more enjoyable, fun and relaxed! If you're lucky enough to meet stretch, make sure you challenge him to a dance off! The best thing about the kiwi bus is how sociable it is, its the easiest way to make friends and the people I was lucky enough to spend my time with became more like a little family to me. We have so many memories and moments I will never forget and they made my trip unforgettable! Its so nice to know I have friends in all different parts of the world now, thanks to Kiwi! Im so happy I decided to explored NZ through Kiwi Experience. It was relaxed and stress free, I was provided with so much useful information throughout, saw the most beautiful scenery and I wouldn't of met the people I did without doing it this way! I had 3 unforgettable weeks and I cant wait to come back already, Kia Ora!

Awesome trip!
Kiwi Experience is great for those that aren't sure where they want to go in NZ and want to meet a lot of people. The only downside is the overall cost. The bus itself isn't too badly priced but when you add in all the accomadtion that they push you to stay in and all the activities it comes to a lot. They also don't include the cost of the ferry which isn't really mentioned. Overall a really well organised trip, they could just be a bit more up front with everything involved.

Best way to get the full Experience!
Perfect way to travel New Zealand by yourself in a limited amout of time! Great bus pass, huge amout of great activities and the bus drivers know what they are talking about!
