Very well organised, and great drivers
I traveled with Kiwi Experience from the 29th of March till the 30th of April! The drivers were amazing (especially Dylan)! They were great a tad booking activities and helping you out when you needed something!

Wow what a experience
Booked trip not quite sure what to expect. Well you will not be disappointed, the high light of my 7 month experience in New Zealand. The Kiwi Experience bus experience from start to finish was just amazing, visited some amazing places, met some amazing fellow travellers using the same experience. Only regret I could not carry on the experience for a few more days. A brilliant experience that has given me great memories and new friends

The drivers was the biggest part of a good journey
I travelled with you from beginning of mars to beginning of April. It was really nice but the drivers on some busses was really bad. Not helpful and did not know much things at all. A big disappointment when they made the trips boring. Saying things like "here you have to go for a walk because it's part of my job to force you"

Amazing experience
Spent an amazing 31 days on the kiwi experience 'cruising around' New Zealand, made great friends and had a real insight into the kiwi life.

Britz should ditch the LDV vans in its fleet
We rented a campervan for 4 weeks. Britz have various vans in their 'Discovery' fleet - Mercedes, VW and LDV (Chinese budget model). We got an LDV. Britz chooses not to put its logo on the LDV vehicles, presumably because it is ashamed to be using them. But it uses them anyway. The LDV has a very poor safety record and is totally unreliable. Ours broke down in the middle of the road. Other earlier problems included the dashboard lights not working, the fog light not working, the arm rest breaking, the side mirror being unadjustable, the driver's seat wobbling. I feel very strongly that Britz/THL should not be using LDV vehicles, not even in its budget Mighty campervans. The notion that LDV is 'equivalent' to VW or Mecedes is a joke, and when customers have paid a huge amount of money (we hired it in the summer as well), it is simply wrong that they be given such an underperforming and dangerous vehicle. The THL staff were always polite on the phone, but were at first unwilling to replace the vehicle after the breakdown (the AA had got it going again but had no idea why it had broken down). This was outrageous! After refusing to drive any further with the LDV, they finally agreed to replace the vehicle. I shouldn't have had to beg for this, but from this point forward the holiday was excellent. They replaced the vehicle the next evening with a Mercedes van and the rest of the holiday was superb. The Mercedes was excellent - fully adjustable seats, fully adjustable side mirrors, sturdy and powerful. All's well that ends well. And I must acknowledge that Britz/THL paid for the holiday park we had to stay at after we broke down. They looked after us in the end, but it is a disgrace that the LDV is part of their fleet.

Ok experience
Some bus drivers were informative and others not. I wish we were advised to fly from Christchurch to Auckland which would have allowed us more time. We just spent days travelling on the bus.
