Sweet as!
I just completed my month in New Zealand with Kiwi Bus Experience and it was honestly one of the best times of my life. I met some awesome people, did some amazing activities and saw incredible scenery.

Only way to do New Zealand!
I did the Kiwi experience over February/March for one month. It was so much fun and a must do. Its a great way to make friends along your travels and makes the whole experience of travelling so easy, with accommodation sorted and great activities available without any hassle of booking yourself. I can't imagine travelling New Zealand on my own as there are lots of cool places that you go to that I perhaps would not have done on own, which was made even more fun with big group of people. It is flexible so can change your days of travelling etc if want to stay longer in one place so you still have freedom to do whatever you want. Id say that one month/4 weeks is the perfect time to do both North and South Island

An easy way to meet people and see NZ
I bought my ticket when on sale over Christmas and didn't actually use it till May. I got to see all the highlights I wanted and found it easy to add on passes for accommodation or activities. I did however have to chase my vouchers once on the bus as my driver didn't have them and ended up printing them at the hostel once we arrived that afternoon. I had 5 different drivers and on the whole were great fun, knowkedgeable and incredibly friendly- a couple however were a bit offish which definitely put a downer on the bus while with them. A lot of the deals on the bus for accommodation or activities could be found cheaper online through hostel world, booking.com and bookme.co.nz but then you wouldn't be with the people on the bus unless you all booked it together online. I made wonderful friends while on the bus and having met people who were travelling solo on public buses, I was definitely happy that I picked Kiwi based on their experiences, and I would pick kiwi again if I went back to NZ. I did pre-book buses before I flew out to confirm my itinerary which I'd recommend as despite being "off peak", all of my buses were always full and a lot of people struggled to make changes/book on buses due to demand and could have ended up waiting a week to get on specific buses. It would be great if the kiwi office could be contacted easier via other methods than phone as most people travelling won't necessarily buy a SIM card. Emails are slowly responded by the office with no way to alert to priority urgent messages if needed while in NZ. Also, the buses seem to get steamed up inside very quickly meaning a lot of our drivers had to leave the AC on, even when it was very cold for the passengers just so they can see out their window- not impressed that the bus is colder than outside and I'm sitting in my coat to stay warm!

Loved it!
A great way to see the country (although it felt a little rushed at times)! The bus was lots of fun and a great way to meet people while you're travelling.

Great kiwi experience
I bought my ticket a couple of months back and have been traveling through NZ between January and February. I couldn't have chosen a better way of transport. The kiwi experience Bus stops at all the big places you want to go and if you want to hop off at a different place along the way they'll be happy to stop for you. The bus drivers also provide a lot of information about the places we stopped at but also along the way which I thought was really good. It's very flexible with if you want to stay in a place for longer than minimum stay, as there's a kiwi experience bus everyday. The bus drivers are happy to help and chat to you and I met a lot of fun people during my time with the kiwi experience. The only thing which I wasn't happy with was that the ticket for the ferry wasn't included in the price of the bus ticket and it wasn't very clear when I booked my ticket for the bus on the kiwi experience web page online in advance. Otherwise I would definitely do it again and recommend it!

The best 5 weeks EVER!
My girlfriend and I bought the Whole Kit & Caboodle pass for our 5 weeks in NZ. We couldn't recommend it enough, the staff and the organisation of the trip was second to none. We managed to see the country from Cape Reinga in the North all the way to Invercargill in the South at a great price, meeting great people all the way round. The activities and accommodation are effortless to book with Kiwi as they do all of the hard work for you! Kiwi Experience is the best!!!

Amazing experience!
Auckland to Christchurch in 6 amazing weeks, met so many great people and the kiwi experience bus takes you to all the main stops across New Zealand. Good discounts on activities and provided amazing local knowledge and advice at every stop. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Beautiful country made better with Kiwi Experience
The Kiwi Experience is a great way to see such a beautiful country. Met so many people along my route and had a lot of fun. I had a few bus drivers and all were so friendly, always available to answer questions and provided loads of information about the country. I felt safe throughout the whole trip and that meant I could just chill and enjoy myself without having to do too much of my own organisation as it was all done for me really! It was slightly unfortunate when most of my bus friends were travelling minimum time, because that meant I left a lot of friends along the way when I decided to stay in places for longer. I did make other friends of course, but it would have been ideal if everyone stayed together the whole time. If you're the kind of person that wants to stay at some places for more than minimum time, then I'd recommend getting someone to come along with you who wants to travel for the same time frame.
