Camper trek

Easy pick up and drop off process. Good on the road support. Majority of roads in NZ great for campers. Werent made aware of mileage tax in advance, would have been good to know as quite a bit of money at the end.

Great, beautiful, wonderful, marvellous experience

You get a great view from the bus windows. The drivers are very knowledgeable and very helpful. They are also safe drivers. Kiwi Experience goes to beautiful and interesting parts of New Zealand and Kiwi Experience, through its research and connections, gives you the opportunity to do interesting and challenging activities at discount rates.

Nice Trip!

I did the Kiwi Experience for 2 months. It was really busy, so it was sometimes hard to get a bus. It was not really a hop on and hop off bus. Therefore the price was quite expensive when you compare it to other bus companies. Also the accomodations offered by the kiwi bus were more expensive then other hostels. On the other hand the bus had nice sight seeing stops and a good itinerary. I made some good friends on my journey in the bus. The bus drivers were really friendly and could give you good advices for your travel.

Epic Trip

I toured the south island with Kiwi Ex in January and found it to be a great experience. Pros: 1. The guides took care of bookings/accomodation which made everything pretty hassle free. 2. The accomodation is central and decent for the price. 3. For solo travellers, its so easy to make friends! Cons: 1. Saying goodbye to friends who had different travel schedules. 2. The unavoidable long (but spectacular) drives.

Few pointers

Great way of solo travelling round NZ. Certain bus drivers were also excellent tour guides.

Exciting experience!

I started this journey about a month ago. Best exsperience! So comfortable, fun and beyond expectation. We saw so much in so little time, learned things we had no idea about. A safe and easy way to travel and we saw all the things we plannned and a lot more!

Amazing experience!

I planned this tour in detail as I was worried buses would book out but once you find a good group to stick with it’s so so way to change your bus to fit your fellow travellers itineraries! Best bus driver without a doubt was Ben! So so funny always up for a laugh! Met such a good group of people and changing buses every few days meant I met new people all the time! Would deffo recommend especially for first time solo travellers!

Trip of a lifetime

Had 27 days with Kiwi Experience and it was the best 27 days of my life. I overcame so many fears and I wouldn't have been able to see/ do even half the things I wanted to in that space of time without KiwiEx. All the drivers we met were amazing and made even the longest of journeys a great laugh and were all so helpful and knowledgable.
