Great way to travel NZ

I had always planned to travel on the kiwi experience bus and I have no regrets. Met so many people, very well organised. Took the stress out of everything

Best experience!

I bought the pass and was abit apprehensive as I was travelling on my own but there was no need to worry! Majority of people were travelling on their own and we ended up all being such good friends and having the best time!

Mercedes and Maui combined delight

First time ‘motorhomers’. What a great time! The Maui camper that we had was new, fresh a delight to drive, and more than comfortable for the two of us. (3berth) Bigger people might find it harder to use the compact but well appointed bathroom. We had the diesel heater on every night. Very effective with its thermostat... kept us snuggly! We cooked on the BBQ each night and ate at the outdoor table and chairs that was included in the ‘all inclusive package’ which I recommend you get. It gives you the added bonus of feeling as if you are ‘kiwi living’. The bedding and linnen supplied was good. The Duvet was warm with plenty of extra blankets if you need them. No face clothes though. Overall the van was VERY economical (including the use of the heater), a pleasure to drive and we had a load of fun! Thanks Maui!!

The BEST three weeks

I was originally going to just go backpacking around NZ by myself but once the third person recommended Kiwi to me I knew I had to give it a go and it was honestly one of the best decisions I made while travelling. It's a great way to meet people, you see a tonne of amazing places (all the classics) and it makes moving around just so easy. I made so many friends, had an incredible driver (Cowboy we love you) and did so many bucket list things to the extent where I need to completely rewrite my bucket list... SO worth it!

SWEET AS!!!!

My Kiwi Experieince was even more amazing than I thought it would be. I had 4 different drivers over the course of my one month trip across both the North and South islands and each driver was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, passionate, friendly and unique. On the Kiwi bus I made some super amazing life-long friends who I know I'll stay in contact with for the rest of my life - I was not expecting to meet some new BFFs on this trip but I definitely have. People travelling on the Kiwi bus are so open to meeting new people and experiencing new things with you that it becomes easy to find 'your' people. I was prepared (and slightly dreading) for it to be a party bus as this is what I had heard, however this was not the case. Of course, there was drinking and the occasional night out but the trip really is what you make it so if you aren't really into partying/drinking copious amounts of alcohol then don't worry, not many other people are either.
