Great way to see New Zealand!
We didn’t expect the kiwi experience tour to take you to all the places that we visited. Obviously we knew the scheduled places but all the little stop offs to see waterfalls, rainforests, wildlife and ocean scenery! It was such a pleasant surprise and I’m glad they stopped every so often to give you an opportunity to see parts of New Zealand which you probably wouldn’t see if you travelled by yourself. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and really took care of everyone’s needs when it came to activities we wanted to do. The ease of hopping on and off the bus and changing things as you go was a massive plus too! Would recommend to friends that want to travel this beautiful country! Ben was mine and my partners favourite driver, he was such a laugh to be around and was a larger than life character, everyone we spoke to loved him! Also the discounts you get with activities is a bonus when you’re travelling on a budget.

Hey there..I am travelling with Kiwi since the 7th Jan. I like it a lot so far - very flexible to travel with you, when I called you always found a way to help me with further plans or even individual trips without the bus, short stops for food or photos, (mostly) friendly drivers and fun time on the bus!! Especially I had a great time with Natalie Grant, Jonty, Stretch, Ben, Wiggles and the driver who also does the Milford Sound (forgot his name, but he was very funny!) Appreciated this time, big thanks!! x

I love Kiwi Ex <3
Thank you Kiwi Ex for the most incredible trip - I spent 3 weeks on the Sheepdog Route and because I was on the Christmas bus with Fraser, many of us stayed together for our whole trip and had the best time together. Hail to the bus driver and hakuna matata! <3 I'm already planning to come back to New Zealand!

Perfect for Backpackers
My friend and I have traveled with KiwiEx for around two month. Most of the drivers are very nice and helpful. It’s easy to have a nice chat with them. We would definitely recommend KiwiEx. We would recommend not to book every accommodation through KiwiEx. There are so many hostels who are way better. River Valley is such an unnecessary stop. No wifi and way to expensive activities!! It’ s sad that every driver does different stops on the way. For example two friends of us , who also traveled with KiwiEx did stop at the Blue Pools but we didn’t unfortunately . Another positive aspect of KiwiEx is that you meet so many people from around the world.

Such a nice time!
I‘m really glad I booked with Kiwi Experience because you can see so nice and hidden places in a short time and they are so flexible! You don‘t really have to care about much. But the one point I actually didn‘t like was the fact that you have to stop at every stop: for example is River Valley and Lake Mahinapua a stop in the middle of nowhere and I didn‘t like these two stops but apart from that everything was fine and you got to meet so many nice people

Great experience
I bought my ticket way in advance on a friend's recommendation and glad I did. Based on recommendations we were able to plan our extra days ahead. It meant we didn't have as much flexibility but it took the stress of being on wait lists etc off. We tried to do research on activities ahead of time but it wasn't very easy as there was no definitive list with prices etc. This made it hard to budget, as the drivers would hand back the forms day of and we wouldn't have a lot of time to decide if we could afford it. However, for the most part drivers gave a decent amount of information. The drives were never too long with plenty of toilet stops and stops for walks/lookouts. Depending on the driver, you get a bit of information along the way too. Overall I had a great time on the bus, it's a good way to make friends while travelling and we stopped in places you might not know about if travelling on your own. Definitely worth it.

Amazing trip!
I couldn't have chosen a better way to travel around New Zealand! After I finished my exchange I had one month left to enjoy before returning to my country, I chose to travel with Kiwi Experience and had the best time ever!

I had the time of my life on th Kiwi Experience - New Zealand is the best country I've ever been to. It suits any kind of trip with you being able to do it how you want. Only thing that could be improved is the system for itinerary change, which could be smoother
