Memories to Last a Lifetime!

I have been traveling the world for six months now and buying a Kiwi Experience bus pass to explore New Zealand was one of the best decisions I've made so far! The bus drivers were super helpful, the stops along the way were absolutely breathtaking, and the required overnights were all bucket-list worthy. I made incredible relationships with people my age from around the world and friendships that will last a lifetime! Kiwi made it possible for me to get the most out of all New Zealand has to offer!

Once in a lifetime

Fantastic 5 weeks travelling around both islands with a big bus of messers :)! I wouldn't change a thing, the activities and set up were brilliant and there was always a great option for free fun :)! I'd recommend kiwi to any age group too :)

Great Time

it is a very good chance to see the hole islands and you meet a lot of different people and i liked that the driver always told something about the region we were driving through.

Awesome Time in Nz with Kiwi!

I travelled through NZ for 6 weeks on the Kiwi Bus. It was a blast and I made so many new friends from all over the world! Great stops on our way and especially Jacob was the best busdriver ever!! The only thing I didnt like as much was the stop in Lake Mahinapua because there was nothing to do there apart from the lake and the accomodation was pretty expensive... hope to get back to NZ soon! Thanks!

Spotless and included everything we needed.

We had a great week touring New Zealand's South Island. Only wish we had longer! Very comfortable way to travel. Facilities in holiday parks great in NZ. So clean.

Wonderful journey

Even in winter it is great to travel with Kiwi Experience. They still try to show all the beauty of New Zealand. The choice of the hostels is normally really good but if you don't like it, there is no problem in staying somewhere else. Then they even pick you up there if you want. Sometimes the travel experience really depends on the people on the bus. But if you couldn't get along with them, just rest a little bit somewhere and take the next bus. That is the cool thing about not beeing a group travel. And yes, the bus drivers are really funny. They love to joke around the whole day :)

A brand new van

After a few initial hitches with our booking upon arrival at the Britz Perth depot, all were sorted out and we were upgraded to a brand new Maui River van. The van had all we wanted/needed and more (apart from clothes hanging space) and there was ample space for two adults. Not sure how 6 adults would have fared for our three week trip though. It was great that we could leave a bed up permanently. Everything was very easy to use and great storage space (for two of us).

Good overall!

Good value overall, decent enough vehicle and free upgrade. Vehicle not really ready on pick up, we had to wait whilst several issues we spotted were resolved. Diesel heating was faulty also and some cosmetic damage but mostly it worked well.

Travel around the north and south islands

Although we just spent a frotnight travelling around NZ, we managed to get the most of both islands. Moving around with a campervan not only allowed us planning our trip according to our schedule and priorities but also having the opportunity to meeting locals and foreign travellers every night at the different holiday parks we stayed at. And, despite the fact we were travelling during the beginning of winter (and also that we are not used to having many rainy days in Barcelona), we could enjoy the most of the places we visited. The only drawback of travelling during Winter was the lack of sunlight from 17:30 on. This forced us to waking up quite early, doing the activities in the central part of the day and driving to the next stop when there was not enough light to gaze at the landscape or the visitor centers had closed (normally at 16h or 17h). Thanks to the great GPS navigation system included with the motorhome we discovered many places that we did not expect to visit when planning the trip at home. In addition, the reviews and the information collected at the CamperMate App (comes integrated with the Maui navigation device!!) was of great value at the time of chosing the camping sites and other interesting places to visit. New Zealand has lots of attraction features but you have to pay to access the most of them... Fortunately, Kiwis are very kind and you will get more information about free activities such as trips and local points of interest asking at the receptionists of every holiday park. Summarizing, we had an awesome time at New Zealand travelling with a Maui campervan. We totally recommend living this experience!
