Really great experience!
The drivers were really friendly, funny and knowledgeable. We found it easy to plan our journey with the help of the app and the activity sheets.

Great experience with Kiwi Experience
I loved it! An amazing experience and the best way to see NZ. I've traveled for nearly a month in total on the Whole Kit and Kaboodle pass and haven't had one regret except that I would have loved to have even more time there! I met some amazing people, saw incredible and breath-taking sights, did some insane things and made unforgettable memories! I managed to do all the activities I wanted to do, and appreciated the unexpected things, such as Maori village, having an extra night in Wellington and watching the Rugby in the stadium, and the fancy dress party! The buses are really sociable and a great laugh, not to mention the amount of activities available through the bus! The flexibility of the pass is great as you can stop off in places for as long as you want but as I was there winter time there were less buses and you could only hop on a bus 3 times a week. One thing I found annoying was that the bus would often book us in to Base hostels which aren’t that great and you always had to pay for Wi-Fi, but if we booked a different hostel the drivers were always great with dropping us off and picking us up from the other hostels. I would like to say a huge thank you to Jed who drove us through the North Island down to Kaiteriteri, he made me feel welcome, he was funny and informative and basically new everything about New Zealand, it was great to see him again in Queenstown. Thanks also to Dylan who was my driver from Kaiteriteri to Christchurch, Dylan was also very informative and new a lot about the mountains the best views and great walks to do and had a very strange but funny sense of humor. Both were knowledgeable, friendly and a great laugh and were great at recommending the best activities and things to do in the places I stayed. I started my trip alone and finished the trip with many new friends, I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is planning to travel around New Zealand and anyone who is traveling alone, it's a great way to meet new people and to see this beautiful country! All my expectations were surpassed and I will certainly return to NZ.

Best trip I've done
I've done several trips around different countries but nothing compared to Kiwi. There were a few issues and I wouldn't particularly recommend doing the deep south unless you aren't having to pay extra for it. However everything else is amazing. I love that they stop several times at points of interest for us to take photos and do walks. We experienced about 6 bus drivers. They varied in personality and how much they interacted with the bus. But by far the best driver we had was Gina. She was friendly, funny and had a passion for her job and New Zealand. I had her for the majority of my trip and I would say she was one of the main reasons as to why I loved kiwi experience. Other drivers would usually just drive whereas Gina told us facts and stories along the way which makes the long journeys go a lot quicker. We had one bus driver who was really unprofessional. Constantly swearing and shouting at other drivers. At times he would actually turn his mic on just to shout down it to the traffic. I found it difficult to enjoy his bus drives. But other than that this was the best experience I had whilst travelling 9 countries.

Sweet As Experience
Had a brilliant time on this experience. I was with Gina B for most of the experience who was a wonderful guide, always enthusiastic and full of interest facts/top banter. I've already recommended Kiwi Experience to two of my friends back home in the UK.

Brilliant way to see a beautiful country!
I had an amazing time on the Kiwi bus, it allowed me to see so much of NZ in the limited time period I had and do a lot of activities that I would probably not even known about if not recommended! I also met a fantastic group of people on the bus to share my experiences with!

I had the time of my life!
I booked the bus pass on a whim less then two weeks before I was due to travel- it was the best decision that I have ever made. I was lucky enough to get onto the Nancy bus and he really made the trip for us. He was incredibly informative and gave great travel advice. I had a preconceived idea that the bus driver's primary role was as an acivities salesman. This was not the case, the free activities were brilliant and some are up there with the highlights of the trip. I would highly recommend anyone to do kiwi experience- particularly a lone traveller like me. Everyone was very welcoming and it was so easy to make friends. Highlights included the poo pub, the free hike to the waterfall in tongariro national park, caving in waitomo, tamaki experience and the dawn hike up mount John for sunrise over lake tekapo. I am so happy that I chose to do kiwi experience, I have made friendships and memories to last a lifetime!
