Not too Bad.
The caravan performance was so great. The staff service attitude need to be improved. On road service number hardly works.

An incredible journey
I bought my pass in October, ready to travel in November. I was a little apprehensive as I had never traveled on my own before but even before I went, Kiwi Experience was able to reassure me with quick, informative email responses to my questions. The bus was easy to find on my first morning and drivers were all very informative. For someone like me, who was quite inexperienced, Kiwi experience was perfect; Everything can be organised from the bus by the drivers, including accommodation, activities and onward travel. If you want to stay longer at certain places, this can be arranged with limited fuss and the drivers can recommend the best places for this. The drivers love of their country is clearly evident and there are regular stop offs to visit beauty spots while on the road. It is a great way to meet people; Considering I arrived on my own, I never felt alone as you travel together on the bus and can stay together in the hostels on route. I did the Whole Kit and Caboodle pass so went to each of the stops and would definitely recommend it, and do it again!

Fantastic trip thanks to Sam!
This was an absolutely fantastic trip! Easy way to get around on a budget and great that accommodation and activities can just be booked on the go. I met incredible people all throughout the trip and this was great given I was initially a solo traveler when hopping on the bus, and hopped off having made many friends along the way. Many thanks to Sam, the driver I had for my whole trip between Queenstown and Auckland that was incredibly helpful, funny and always keen to share his knowledge about NZ and all the best tips and go to places in each city we hit. Great ice breakers on the bus to get people to share stories. He contributed to making this trip an unforgettable kiwi experience! My only regret is that I could not stay longer, but I will for sure be back and book with the kiwi experience again!

Best way to travel
The Mighty 6 that we hired was great. It had plenty of room for four adults and was a comfortable way to travel. We did have issues with a flat battery but this was resolved in a timely manner by the support centre.

Our home on 4 weels
Perfect way to explore New Zealand. Surprisingly spacious inside (Toyota Hiace Action Pod). The bed is easy foldable and magnetic curtains work fine. Kitchen is very good and equipped with all the utensils you need. Even Kiwi's are impressed by the setup. There is a toilet inside but we didn't use it. Things to improve: Beanbags are not useful at all and the fridge (while its extremely handy) only works 1 day on the battery and only charges during driving.

So so experience
Here is my review: Things to improve: - less supermarket stops. Not after 45 min drive a stop - instead more photo stops and more time for a lunch stop and a stop with nice weather to walk or swim - for walks: give more time. At least twice the time that's on the signs near the walks. So you can relax and take photo's, read the notes, go for a swim and walk in a very relax pace. - Warmer in bus. No airco below 24. the bus was freezing cold. Outside it was just 20 degrees, so airco in the bus was not wanted; heating yes. - use modern busses in which driver has his own from the passengers compartment separated climate control. So the driver could put it colder for him and warmer for the passengers - depart later instead of early. At 0930 instead of 730. That way you have more time for breakfast and can have a relaxing breakfast. - use more modern buses: the seats in the buses are outdated. The headrest-part is way to low for the modern human now a days. Also use seats that will recline instead of the spartan seats. - Use more upmarket hostels. The base hostels are just very filthy; so was the hostel in Wanaka only cleaned by the staff and very little (only once a day or twice but then not at the moments cleaning is needed). - Reserve private rooms as well and make sure that those are available for the people in the bus. Positive things. Drivers tell a lot about the country and what we see - drivers are very friendly; Quintin is the best guide/driver. - The drivers do stop for photo's at some places and there are some nice walks (just not enough time to do a decent walk). - some hostels are situated very nice (River Valley, Hot Water beach, Kaiteriteri) - had a great christmas at River Valley, thanks to Q and de gang in the bus.

Unforgetable adventure!
I had planned to do the Kiwi experience on my trip but brought it forward to be there over Xmas and a new Year. I’m am so glad i did, best Xmas day every and I met somebody incredible people and shared some unforgettable memories with them. The whole experience is very well organised and each stop has lots to offer, there wasn’t a single stop I didn’t enjoy. My trip was made by the people I was with but the whole Kiwi experience enhanced this! Our bus driver for most it was Quentin (Q) and he is a credit to your company. He was loved by everyone on the bus and made the trip even more unforgettable, so much so we’d changed plans to stay on his bus. He organised a feast at river valley on Xmas day which was incredible. Kiwi experience 10/10 from me!
