Awesome Experience!
Kiwi Experience is probably one of the best ways for people who are travellig alone. I just met great people. Kiwi Experience drives you to the hot spots of New Zealand. But if you'd like to see the hidden gems of the country and be more flexible in your itinerary then you should rather take a campervan which is also a cheap way to get around. It depends what kind of person you are. If you'd like to get the most of the landscape and your not limited on a short time then I'd recommend to take a van/car. But if you're more interested in meeting new people and you'd like to see the best sights of New Zealand in a short time you should definitly take the Kiwi Bus. For me everything about the Kiwi Experience was amazing (perfect busdrivers, amazing hostels, easy way to book activities etc.) except of the flexibility they communicate on their website. According to their website they say that you should book your bus 48h in advance. But sometimes we'd to book our bus a week or more in advance otherwise we would have got on a waiting list.

Wonderful !
I bought the Funky Chicken tour in February and I dit it from the 3rd to the 29th March and I liked it so much! I met a lot of people from all around the world in the bus and the drivers were so friendly!

An unforgettable experience
If you want to know NZ from the north to the south and you are travelling alone, I strongly recommend you to book your tour with KIWI EXPERIENCE. You will know the must do places in NZ and amazing people around the world, always with the best vibes and the most fun environment. Think of positive, think of green, think of KIWI EXPERIENCE

Good Experience
Overall I had a great time on the Kiwi experience. I found booking busses easy and it was a great way to meet people. The only complaint I would have was the music was too loud on the bus and some of the driving was a little frightening (and not just because of the roads).

Perfect for solo travellers but start in Auckland!
Kiwi bus is fantastic for solo travellers who want to explore New Zealand with the ease of catching busses with (generally) other like-minded people. I started in the South and travelled North and found that most people had hopped off and finished their trip in Queenstown and that some of the busses were reasonably quiet so i'd recommend starting your trip North going southbound from Auckland. The drivers were really helpful and often went out of their way to organise activities for me, but they will not wait around for latecomers (or on-timecomers in a lot of cases) so make sure you get to the bus stop 15 mins before departure time. Lots of kids taking their 'gap yah' on the Kiwi Bus with their dads credit card, nonetheless everybody seemed to have a cracking time at each stop and the kiwi hostels were perfecto.

Had the bestest Time
Kiwi experience was the best thing to do in New Zealand! Especially when you are trevelling alone it's a great way to meet people. The drivers are really passionate, know everything over New Zealand and always love to help you out

A trip to remember
For my first time travelling alone Kiwi experience made it so simple and fun, you can relax and take in your trip. I would highly recommend going to see New Zealand with them it is a beautiful place with endless amount of breath taking scenery and activities along the way for people to part take in. Drivers were helpful, funny and friendly would like to especially thank Hamish (south island driver) his interaction with the group added something special to the experience, we sang song played games told stories, there was never a dull moment so thank you

Awesome way to see the country
It was really a great way to see and experience New Zealand. I had thought it would be more of a hop off hop on whenever you want kinda thing, instead of prebooking everything, but it was still great!

Best road trip ever!
I bought this in Sydney, I am so happy I did it, I had a bus of great people and the two main drivers of Ninja and Andrea were just too good, they made the trip even better.

I travelled with the motorhome and the most happy time was spended in the white horse site near the mount cook.
