Simply the best way to travel
This has been one of the most amazing travels ever! I am so glad I did this - the country itself is amazing, the people on the bus (both drivers and other travelers) are so friendly and the connection you get with people is truly beautiful. I’ve met so many wonderful people on this trip and I’ve seen so many beautiful places! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to travel (by yourself, with a friend or a loved one) but also to grow individually. Even though my first trip with the KiwiExperience is now over, I am sure I’ll be back for more!

We only had 3 weeks to tour NZ and Kiwi was the best was to do it! We had such an amazing time, made lots of new friends and saw the most beautiful sights of NZ. The best way to do it!

Great time on board with Kiwi Experience
This was my first time travelling solo, and as I had 5 weeks in New Zealand, friends living in NZ recommended the Kiwi bus to me, and I haven’t looked back. It was such an easy method to travel alone and make friends, drivers were very helpful, all activities were great fun, and the office were always helpful to deal with. I conquered so much and made new friends for life, and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone thinking about travelling NZ alone!

Good trip
I was really happy that I decided to go with the kiwi bus I met some Great people and the drivers were very informative. Only thing was a lot of the stops felt very rushed, we would arrive at a really amazing place and have 15 mins to enjoy it ....

I thought love was only true in Fairytales....
I can't recommend this service enough to anyone. I could not imagine any other way of travelling around New Zealand than the Kiwi Experience. I had the best fun imaginable and made friends for life. The bus was comfortable and clean, the drivers were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, the country was mid blowing and the people were some of the best I've ever met. It isn't the cheapest, but I don't know a single person who would say it wasn't value for money, besides there are always 'deals' on offer if you keep an eye on the website. In comparison to people using other services, none were having as much fun as us. Granted this experience is best suited to people aged between 18-29 who can be easily persuaded to a cheeky drink or six, however, I didn't meet many people who didn't fall into the latter! The reason there is a star is a star missing is the twofold: the accommodation and up-selling. The standard accommodation on offer was almost always slightly overpriced and a little worse for wear compared to some of main competitors in the area. Also be prepared to stay in places with only one (expensive) accommodation on offer. The up-selling (not sure if the right context) was quite frustrating as many activities were described as 'best value' and 'best price' but a quick google search finds this is often not the case and some drivers can be a little pushy. These sound like a big criticisms but I'm certain the other bus companies are doing the same so just something to bear in mind when you travel. I'm a Believer that Kiwi Experience is an absolute must, I promise you will not regret it.

Great way to get around
Enabled a proper Kiwi road trip, from Auckland all the wat to Queenstown and back to Christchurch. Some very interesting weather including lots of snow on the Linas pass.

Loved Kiwi Expetience
I’ll be very honest and admit at the beginning of the trip I was worried about what was to come as it felt like it was a bus full of immature 18-21 year olds. However I was very wrong. Luckily for us we managed to stay on the same bus throughout our trip and stayed with more or less with the same people. And they turned out to be a great group of guys. We loved Hobbiton and the Maori Village and obviously Queenstown with all the activities there. But with good weather Taupo and Hot Water Beach were other highlights. Lake Mahinapua and Abel Tasman we’re low points as they felt like a waste of time to be honest. But overall we had an amazing trip full of lots of fun and great views of NZ along the way. I also have to give a special mention to our driver Martin who was so friendly to us. He has a great sense of humour and on our one year anniversary delivered a special speech for us to the rest of the bus. Top, top guy. Thanks again. The two Adams.

Even better than the hype!
Having previously booked the KiwiEx and not being able to go, I was so excited to finally get a chance to get on the bus. From the get go, the whole experience was amazing, the driver knowledge and places to stop were incredible. There was no ‘organized’ fun and everything was so organic and flowed brilliantly. The organising of the accomodation was so helpful as it meant we had more time to enjoy what was going on around us, and sleep off our hangovers on bus. I met the most incredible people, and we all did things out of our comfort zones.
