Fantastic way to see New Zealand!
We had a great time travelling around NZ with our shell on our back. Everywhere was geared up for motor homes which meant running it on a day-to-day basis was easy. Thoroughly recommend it.

Must do, loved it !!
Kia ora, My name is Ahurangi, I am from Waitomo - New Zealand and I wanted to travel the South island. I am glad I choose to go with Kiwi Experience as they provided, great transport, accommodation and activities in a relaxed setting. The places we went were stunning the activities fun and the nightlife and people are memories I will never forget. This is a great way to see Aotearoa!!

We rented last minute and they were able to accommodate. A lot of upselling

Good to get to know people!
A really good experience. It's actually important to book your seats lots in advance so you don't get stuck somewhere. Sometimes the drivers hear terrible music and it's often too loud so you can't hear your own music. But we met so many new people from all over the world and you travel along together most of the time that's pretty cool! :)

Great experience exploring NZ!
I'm doing a round the world tour and New Zealand was on my list from day 1. I booked my pass through STA travel and got a great deal for the whole kit & caboodle. At first it was difficult to get buses booked due to the number of buses being reduced from every day to 4 a week. This meant in some places I had the option of 1 night or 3 and due to my timescale I sometimes I had to miss out on things to get to the next place. The issue was resolved when extra buses were put on to reduce backlog and going down south got alot easier. The buses were usually prompt and most of the drivers were very friendly and helpful, some more than others. I made a friend in my first hostel in Auckland and we ended up travelling the whole route to Queenstown together. I loved that we would meet people and catch up to one another over and over. Queenstown was where everyone parted ways. I think the deep south needs improving, we literally spent 3 days on a bus and it was long days not seeing or doing very much. Even Milford sounds was disappointing due to the weather.

Ok, can be better
In the beginning the fresh water tank wasn't full, waste water wasn't empty. The sink didn't drain and after we got it fixed it smelled teribble each time we used the sink to drain water. The batteries in the keys were empty even after we went to the Christchurch branch to replace it. So actually it wasn't replaced. Furthermore the navigation system wasn't working so we brought it back to the Christchurch branch to get another one. Unfortunately the top bed wasn't useable due to a broken board at the side. Nevertheless service number of thl gave us quick assistance with other problems. All in all we expected more from a rented camper van, at least that everything works in an appropriate manner.
