Made travelling so much less stressful
The kiwi bus was a great way to get around New Zealand and took most of the planning out of the trip (very useful for someone unorganised). It also gave you a locals insight almost with their years of experience meant you would almost always stay in the nicest places and do the most fun activities. Being on the bus made making new friends very easy, and ensured you met people from all over the world. The only downsides were that the bus was on a strict schedule, so for the stops between towns were often rushed and made to feel a bit like a school trip, being marched around instead of getting a chance to really explore.

Great time and way to travel
My friend is the one who actually found Kiwi Experience, and I'm so glad we did! Kiwi gave us the options to do many activities, but also the freedom to do our own while taking us from point A to B. Didn't have any issues with accommodation and pick up. Bus drivers were great (especially Jed!). Loved the stops between locations -- I didn't realize we would do that!

INCREDIBLE KIWI EXPERIENCE
I had the most amazing time! I met so many amazing people, went to stunning places and threw myself into so many incredible activities. NZ is a must do, and Kiwi Experience is the best way to do it.

I bought a ticket for myself after I decided that I wanted to travel to New Zealand by myself in my gap year. I was a bit scared of going alone so I thought this would be a great way to meet people and see the country. Also I liked the hop on hop off idea. On that part i was a little dissapointed. Probably because it was such a bizzy season, you had to book your busses quite early. Not just get to one place, see if you like it and from there book the next bus. So I felt not really flexible and sometimes this was even stressfull. Also, sometimes it felt like you were on a school trip. You get thrown out of the bus somewhere and the busdrivers tells you okay 30 minutes back in the bus. I did meet some great people! I liked that the bus drivers are really knowledgeable and are able to answer all your questions

Good experience
I had a great experience with Kiwi. Met a ton of people and did a lot of different things! My only negative would be the fact that you sell out your busses and what is advertised as a hop on hop off bus, really isn't. I was lucky enough not to be on standby - but I know some people that were.. Pretty inconvenient if you ask me!

Awesome Journey!!!
For sure THIS is the best way to travel NZ!! Considered to drive around in a camper van, but I am so glad that I chose Kiwi Experience instead!! We have different drivers, and especially Rob was awesome!!! He picked us up the first day, and made us very comfortable with the whole system!!! Also Toddy and Bods deserves to be mentioned! They truly did an amazing job too!! And to Jacob on the Milford Explorer!!! Can't imagine a more beautiful moment than when we drove out of Homer's Tunnel so thank you so much for that!!!

Great experience!
I always was a bit sceptical about going on an organized coach trip across NZ but doing the KiwiExperience was one of the best things I've done over here. It is a very convenient way to see all the "must dos" of this amazing country in a short time while meeting a lot of new folks and without having to worry about the organisation. I'd def do it again!

The most sociable, straightforward way to do NZ
Makes the whole process of travelling so straightforward, it takes all the thinking and planning out of the equation and sorts it for you - you just have to show up! You really do see the whole country and can rest safe in the knowledge that you've ticked off all the main sights, attractions and activities. It's a great way to meet people, it really was amazing to show up in a new town or city and then bump into people you know from previous buses, its like a home comfort. My main point for improvement would be the system for booking ahead future buses. Although responses from the office were efficient I can't help feeling that the whole process of itinerary arrangements would be better if each traveller had an online log in or app, where they could amend their booking themselves. It becomes a little tedious to keep worrying about booking onto buses and making amendments through the office. Also feel the minimum time in Wellington, Wanaka and Kaiteriteri should be 2 nights, as you arrive late.

travelling to the people - kiwi experience
when people ask me why i bought kiwi experience busticket, i simply answer like this; sometimes you travel to a place to see beautiful places and to explore new cultures, but for me travelling is about the people. Without The people , without your new friends , you don't feel the true embracement a beautiful place can give you. Every journey has a end but the memories will live forever, and that's The beauty with travelling. So thank you kiwi experience for your network , for showcasing the country in a fantasic way, but especially getting people with different gender, age and nationalities together! because at the end we ALL are travelers. We are one.
