Great experience!
Smooth process/travel, KIWI gets a great deals with locals which converts to cheaper activities you'd normally do anyway!

Compact, clean & equipped!
From beginning to end we had a fabulous 10 day road trip in our smart 'action pod' camper. It had everything we needed, so just loaded our clothes and food and we were ready to go. Lovely clean sheets and towels provided, plus table and chairs to use outside and clever magnetic curtains for privacy at night. We can't recommend this vehicle enough, and the customer service we received when we sadly hit a stray dog was great, which made it easy for us and didn't affect our holiday. Thanks Britz - we'll be back soon :)

Dream Run
Our kids love holidaying in a camper. We explored the south island for 10 days. Kiwis have camping tourism sorted. We used the Rankers app (better than Britz) and found fantastic freedom camp sites. Highlights included riding the Otago Rail Trail, White water rafting in slippers canyon, the drive to Glenorchy, Akaroa, Milford Sound, Monteiths beers. Our van was fantastic, especially since we didn't use the toilet!

Yaaay!
Decided to see the country before i settled into Auckland life and this was hands down the best thing i ever did! <3 Dylan the driver was amazing, his music, sense of humour and information shared was top notch. What a silver fox! ;D The friends i made are totally golden and i will miss them all until we meet again, hopefully on the Kiwi Experience Reunion Bus Tour in 20 years, provided we can put kids in the luggage compartment haha. I was so overwhelmed by the natural beauty of this place pretty much everyday and felt so lucky indeed. Talk about Big Green Bus Withdrawals! xXx

Excellent way to explore NZ
Just came back from my kiwi holiday. The campervan idea was the best decision we could have made! Great way to explore this amazing country!!

As Expected
The Van was in good condition. But there were some issues: One drawer opened frequently in narrow turns. Even worse the door of the compartment did so and we lost parts of our luggage. Luckily a following driver picked it up and stopped us.

Basic and ordinary
The VW Double Up is basic and has done its 230k with fittings at its durable life span. However, the engine is still pretty reliable at the steepest part of the climb through the passes at Arthurs, Hasst and Mildfords. Doors, screen, skylight and windows Are due to be refurnished. Noise proof is poor. Overall performance is barely satisfying. Afterall, we had an enjoyable time.

I now have a DEEP LOVE for Kiwiland!
I am so glad I chose the Kiwi Experience. I wanted something organized and structured so I could relax, but also flexible so I could wander off and do my own thing when I wanted. I didnt think that existed. Turns out it does. KE has a lot of elements: nature excursions, cultural experiences, adrenaline activities, epic hikes, lots of people wanting a beer (and a kiss) every evening. I feel like I got a good taste of a bunch of beautiful places on both islands. I also spent an enormous amount of money on all the activities (worth it). I wish I had time to stay longer in several of our stops. My KE has made me determined to come back to New Zealand for longer!

Great Experience
When I bought my pass I have been sceptical whether it could be the right way for me to travel in New Zealand because online reviews described the Kiwi bus as a party bus for very young people. After all I can say it was a brilliant way to travel and a great experience. I got to know many lovely people and learnt a lot about New Zealand.
