The best way to travel
Travelling with a time limit is hard to see all that you want, but going with Kiwi Experience for me was the best decision. You make close friends spending the whole time with them. The drivers know the best walks and places to take you to see and they teach you a lot about the local geography and culture. It is expensive, but so much fun. I did so many new and crazy things, saw the most beautiful sights and met some amazing people. 100% recommend

Ideal for me!
I chose Kiwi Experience through a recommendation and it was a fantastic journey for an indecisive person like me. I went during winter which had its downside with the weather but I feel the upsides heavily outweigh them, such as being able to change my itinerary within a few days and activities were almost never fully booked. I had 10 different drivers throughout my 2 months of travel and some were definitely worth staying with for a long time because they made the tours fun and informative. I would recommend waiting at a location for the next bus driver to come if you don't enjoy your current group of people because the people can make the journey the best or worst.

Great way to see NZ
I spent a long time debating how to see as much as New Zealand in a short space of time and would definitely recommend Kiwi Experience! The drivers are very friendly and informative - would not have learnt so much driving around on my own. You also get to meet lots of other people and share travelling tips. I will definitely be back to do a longer route as soon as possible!

Overall, a great time
A good way to see a lot of New Zealand if you don’t have a lot of time. The buses are decent and they take you to some great places. The driver guides were good and knew a lot. Dave in particular was great. You get some good discounts on activities but it’s worth checking yourself. It does feel like a school trip at times and it’s not always clear where you should spend extra time to actually see the place e.g. Wellington, Abel Tasman. They guarantee beds for the minimum time there which I’m sure is great for high season but you’ll get better value if you book it yourself. Also the booking forms they pass round don’t always have the price of the hostels and the drivers don’t always know - bit ridiculous! Base and nomads hostels aren’t the best for your money either. Overall, met a great bunch of people and had a great time. Thought it was worth the money.

Amazing!!
I Was on the Southern Round Up tour for 2 weeks and it was incredible. The Kiwi Experience takes you to all the bet places and sights too see - and made even better if you have a good, fun driver (which I did - Cowboy!)

Taking the stress out of trip planning
We booked this hoping to meet new people and have some of the headache of trying to plan a route through New Zealand removed - it did exactly that! Our main bus driver Tim was awesome and was more like a tour guide than a bus driver, definitely helped make the trip. Unfortunately it seems a little hit or miss with drivers as some did purely drive and were of little help during the journey. Kiwi bus is a great and easy way to see New Zealand - it doesn’t advertise the cheapest optional extras in winter (accommodation and activities) but they are always happy for you to do your own thing and I can imagine it does provide cheaper options compared to summer months. Had an awesome month would recommend, and if your bus driver is rubbish just get off and wait for the next!

The campervan was great quality, exactly what we needed. It was great to drive, comfortable and a pleasure to use for our NZ adventure.
