Not great
Drivers could be better. Rob was very angry all the time, even to some of the staff that ran one of the hostels. Harry was very rude and obnoxious, I once asked him how much accommodation will be and he replied with a shrug of the shoulders and 'I dont know' he never gave any information on what to see or do. Only seemed to care about getting drunk every night and trying it on with some of the girls.

Could have been better
My friend and I booked it together. From the beginning there were problems. The website is super confusing and my friend is from england so its not a language thing, I'm just thinking about people that their english isn't that good, they wouldn't understand anything. When my friend called to talk to someone and book our packages the lady did a mistake and did different dates from what we wanted so we ended up calling kiwi way to many time for my opinion. There isnt a lot of information before you book, or maybe because its so confusing its so hard to know what we are doing. Also the lady who booked for as over the phone said we can't get the night before even though we have the accommodation pack. So ended up missing a night and losing money for nothing.

Had a great time!
Very well organised, great way to see so much of the country in a short period (my trip was three weeks from Auckland to queenstown). I think the trip is let down by the accommodation choices as many are very poor. The bus journeys are well split up and the walks are enjoyable but in some cases it is difficult to see the places when you are on minimum time. On some cases, walks took up much of the day which we could have spent at the place, I.e. Wanaka.

Best trip!
Had the best 3 and half weeks, made so many friends, had the best bus driver (Cowboy) so well organised, did all the activities I wanted to do! Very easy to extend stays, Cowboy told us where we should be staying longer and what’s best for us! Can’t wait to do the Kiwi experience in the future!

Awesome experience
I took the kiwi bus with a friend of mine and we are really happy with our choice. Got to know so many people right in the beginning when we went down the west coast of the South Island. Our bus driver for that part of the journey was Matt and he was really endeavored to get discounts for us and made sure we had an awesome time even when it was pouring rain in Franz Josef. In Westport he organized a bonfire by the beach with everyone on the bus which was awesome!

Best month of my life!
I honestly had the best experience on the kiwi bus. The main reason for this was Cowboy. He was absolutely amazing and there was a group of 20 of us who refused to leave his bus. The tour is extremely well organised and it is very easy to sign up to all hostels and activites

Great tour
Overall, the tour was very good. It was well organised and well managed as to not clash with the ‘big bus’ tours also travelling the same areas. Hamish was very knowledgable and his tour guiding skills on the bus were great. Sadly the office side of the company seemed to let itself down as it was clear the office and the drivers were not working in unison. After an incident of someone bag being stolen our driver couldn’t do more to help, whereas all the Kiwi office staff were interested in were making money and not actually helping the person who was in the horrible situation through no fault of her own. New Zealand is an absolutely beautiful country which is very forward thinking. The Kiwi love for their country was clear but also clear how much they wanted to showcase this and welcomed visitors which was lovely.

Incredible To Sum It Up
An unreal experience, seeing New Zealand at its heart, with some incredible people!
